Here at There's No Place Like Home, we open our home
to homeless dogs. We rescue these dogs from dog
pounds and save them from death row. They come here
to stay until we find them their perfect home. Please
check out the dogs we have available to see if one could
fit your family!! All dogs are completely vetted before
adoption!
So what happens to the dogs who aren't adoptable?
Well they end up staying here with us forever. Some of
these dogs can't be adopted due to issues such as
separation anxiety (like tearing up entire rooms that other
dog owners aren't so tolerable of like we are), aggression
towards other animals (that makes us wary to adopt them
out), or just aren't wanted by anyone else :(
All of the money for these dogs comes straight from our
pockets! Yes, we get some donations and adoption fees
but they aren't nearly enough to cover the care of the
dogs. Some of the dogs that come to us are so broken
physically it takes hundreds of dollars to fix them or so
broken mentally that it takes years to heal their pain. In
that time, we take care of their care which adds up to a
lot!

Ways to Help the Dog Rescue:
- Donate your time
We could always use volunteers to come help around
the rescue - play with and walk the dogs, bathe them,
hang out with them and help us clean
- Donate items
Things we can always use are blankets, towels,
crates, paper towels, dog food, collars, leashes, etc
- Money
We can always use money to pay vet bills, buy
microchips, buy new items for the dogs
- Sponsor a dog
Sponsoring means that you donate money towards a
dog. We'll send you the dog's story and picture! You are
welcome to come visit your dog, take him/her to
obedience class, and just be a second mommy/daddy to
the dog.
