1. Country Setting: Here your dog gets to enjoy the
country and all the natural surroundings that dogs should be
allowed to experience regularly for mental and emotional
health.
2. Not 9 am - 6 pm facility (at least not for your dog):
Although we have specific hours for pick up and drop offs,
those hours don't apply to your dog(s). Here at There's No
Place Like Home Boarding Kennel, the first turn out is early
(around 6:30 - 7:30 am) and last turn out is later (anywhere
from 9 pm to 11 pm).
3. Security: The kennel is at our residence! We are
never far from your dog.
4. Play Groups: Your dog will love coming here and
enjoying the company of other dog(s), although we admit our
company isn't that bad either!
5. We can accommodate any type of client: Whether
you want bare necessities taken care of for your dog or if you
want your dog pampered, we can provide it all!
6. Optimal Sound Environment: According to 'Through a
Dog's Ear' (a book by Dr. Susan Wagner and Joshua Leeds),
the ultimate, healthiest auditory surroundings for dogs are
those of a natural setting. "In natural settings, sounds create
harmony and balance because they fall within the parameters
of a dog's instinctual process of sensory perception. It
would be nice if everybody who had a dog could provide them
with the optimal sound environment of the country. Our dogs
would be happier, healthier, and would live longer." (Taken

dogs are inside, we have cds of calming music playing for the
dogs. Some of the cds include the Through a Dog's Ear that
have been statistically proven to help calm dogs.
7. Training: We can help your dog get a 'refresher'
course in obedience while you're gone.
